“Inter-app audio” and Audiobus [INFO]

There’s been some excitement in the iOS music community recently in response to the words “Inter-app audio” on one of the keynote slides. Immediately, theories abounded about what this could mean for Audiobus.
If you’re an iOS developer with an active developer account we’ve clarified everything we know (and what you probably want to know) on the Apple developer forums.
We’ve done it there because we’re all bound by NDA to not talk about details in public.
Here’s what we can say in public though:
- We (the Audiobus team) are not concerned in the slightest.
- Audiobus is going to be submitted to Apple in the coming weeks.
- If you’re one of the over 300 developers who have signed up to include Audiobus in their apps you should definitely check out the Apple dev forums link.
